Collective Agreement

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board serves workers, their families, and the employers in the Province of Ontario. Both the Employer and CUPE Local 1750 acknowledge the three corporate imperatives of Health and Safety, Customer Satisfaction and Financial Sustainability.

To promote efficient and effective public service, the Employer and Union recognize they have a mutual interest in, and an obligation to maintain and enhance a constructive, cooperative relationship. Therefore, a collective agreement between the Employer and the Union is formed to provide:

  1. Satisfactory working conditions and terms of employment for all employees who are subject to the agreement,
  2. A forum for proactive discussion on matters of concern, and
  3. A procedure for the prompt and equitable resolution of grievances.

New collective agreements are being distributed to all members starting June 18. if you have note received one please connect with your unit advisory.
